GAROFALO, Joseph. 1921-2007. In Montreal, passed away on December 25, 2007 at the age of eighty-six. Beloved husband of the late Fernande Lachapelle. Devoted father of Mike (Micheline Ranger) and Gina (Scott Thibaudeau), cherished grandfather of Daniel, Julie and Patrick. He will also be missed by his brothers Rodolphe and Robert (Denise Crete) and his sister Rosine (the late Jacques Jasmin), brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences at the funeral home: 745 Cremazie East Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, December 31 as of 9 a.m. The funeral service will be held Monday, December 31 at 11 a.m. at Saint-Benoit Church, 500 Fleury West, Montreal and thence to Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. In memory of Joseph, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Montreal would be appreciated. A special thanks to the staff of Centre Medical Fleury for their support and their care.
