Joseph "Joe" Gordon Justice III, age 61, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024, at Hospice of Dayton, in Dayton Ohio. Born on March 22, 1963, Joe was a lifelong resident of Ohio, known for his dedication as a business owner and his passion for sports and family.

Joe led a fulfilling career as the owner of Area Wide Home Inspections, a business that thrived under his stewardship. His work ethic and commitment to excellence left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the community.

A devoted sports fan, Joe never missed a Cleveland sports game or an Ohio State football game, sharing this enthusiasm with his friends and family. Beyond sports, Joe was a fervent supporter of marijuana legalization, often advocating for its benefits and participating actively in related community activities.

Joe was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his sons, Joseph Justice IV (Tanya Justice), Jeremiah Justice, Jacob Justice, and Jace Justice (Andrew Carroll); and his daughter, Kristen Walters (Joey Walters). His joy was multiplied by his many amazing grandchildren. He also leaves behind his sisters, Tayler Justice and Tesa Justice; and brother-in-law, Tom Wirick, along with numerous cousins and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Sharry and Joseph Justice Jr, and his siblings, Kip Justice, James Justice, and Jackie Wirick.

A memorial service to celebrate Joe's life will be held November 24th from 5pm-7pm at New Hope Church, located at 530 Xenia Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45410. His life was a testament to hard work, love for family, and the joy of sharing passions with others. Joe will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the memories of those who knew him.

How to describe Joe? Joe was an awesome person and friend he was funny and caring. He loved his kids and grandkids and was extremely proud of them. He was always there for them when they needed it. Even when they butted heads he loved his family unconditionally. He will forever be missed by all who knew him and had the chance to love him and be his friend. He also loved his his animals. Fly High Joe. My prayers and condolences go to his kids and grandkids.
