Joshua Clinton ""Lil' J-Shi"" Shirah

    Joshua (19) is the youngest of four sons, his brothers are; Jason (27 years young), Jamie (31 years young) & Jimbo (35 years young). Josh was born @ the MCCG on Monday, June 27, 1988 @ 4:44 PM & weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz. His Daddy was a Scaredy Cat & wouldn't go into Labor & Delivery with Ma, but Aunt Jean was right there; all in Ma's business, sharing in & witnessing the Beautiful Birth of Our Beautiful, Special Child. From that day on Aunt Jean has always claimed Josh as "part hers" :) 

   Josh has one niece (Tapanga Elizabeth Shirah) born October 8, 2005, she is Unca Josh's heart. Panga was 2 years young when Unca Josh went home to be with Our Lord. She is now 3 and talks about Unca Josh often. She remembers him by his photos but I know that she'll eventually forget Unca Josh as he was. But we'll do everything possible in our power to keep him alive in & for her.

About: Joshua was an Employee @ Boeing where he obtained Full-Time employment after working as an Apprentice during his high school year @ Hutching's Career Center. Joshua was also a licensed auto tech through Hutchings.

Joshua Clinton Shirah -MACON - Joshua "Lil' J Shi" Shirah, 19, of 3911 Mickey Drive, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 21, 2008 as the result of a tragic car accident on Highway 247. Services will be held Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 2P.M. in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary with the Reverend Bruce Bass officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Twiggs County. The family may be contacted at the residence. -Mr. Shirah was a graduate of Hutchings Career Center where he received a license as an automobile technician. He served an apprenticeship at Boeing and had worked there since September 2006. Mr. Shirah loved racing, baseball & being with his family & friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, George Jackson (Maternal), Lena Mae & Suard Shirah (Paternal). -Mr. Shirah is survived by his parents, Dianne & James Shirah of Macon; Brother, Jason Shirah & sister-in-law, Heather Shirah and their daughter, Tapanga Elizabeth Shirah; Brothers, Jamie Shirah & James Shirah, Jr., all of Macon; Maternal Grandmother, Jean Jackson of Twiggs County; Many aunts, uncles and cousins. -Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements. "1 Year Memory" Joshua Clinton Shirah AKA "Lil' J-Shi" 6/27/88 - 2/21/08 We Love YOU Cutie & Miss YOU More Each Passing Day Josh lived a happy life that was full of dreams for his young 19 years. Dreams that only he could & would accomplish. But 1 year ago today by Time, but it feels like yesterday in our Hearts- on that rainy Thursday, February 21st, 2008 around 2:38 p.m. - all of Josh's dreams were ripped away. When that truck pulled out in front of him, causing his car to swerve, hit a water filled pothole then wrap around that concrete pole - Our Baby Boy was gone in an instant. We don't know why and probably never will. Nobody knows why dreams are ripped apart, or why God takes anyone away. But everyone knows why Josh took our hearts right along with him that day. Dear God, everyone keeps telling us that you pick your prettiest flowers first, and you got a Beautiful one when you picked our Josh. Thank You God, now You're giving Josh all he could ever dream, in a more beautiful place than he's ever seen. Lord, please keep him wrapped in your loving arms; give him daily Hugs & Kisses from Mama, Daddy, Jason and Panga till that Glorious Day when we see You and Him again.
