Julie Charlebois Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 12, 2016.
On Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016 the world lost a bright and beautiful being: Julie Ann (Hagan) Charlebois of Lanesboro.

Julie was born to Thomas and Wilma Hagan on April 25, 1962. She graduated from Preston High School and later married Gene Voight of Preston. Julie found her ultimate joy when she brought into the world the light-of-her-life, daughter Danielle Voight. Later, Julie met and married Michael Charlebois, the love-of-her-life and her true BEST FRIEND.

Julie will always be remembered for her one-of-a-kind laugh, gracious heart, loving smile and incredible cooking. She was certainly in her element when cooking and hosting her family and friends!

Julie is survived by her husband, Michael Charlebois; daughter Danielle Voight, (Tucker Gerrick); grandson Evzen Rye; step-son Nick Charlebois (Emily and children Stella, Gemma and Jack) and step-son Jesse Charlebois in addition to her six siblings Debbie Ewald (John), Diane Robidou, Shelly Suek (Cliff), Tom Hagan, Mary Sweers (John) and Katy Poitra (Bruce). She is loved deeply and will always be remembered as Aunt Ju-Ju to the numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by sister Kathy, brother Michael and parents, Wilma Parise and Thomas Hagan.

Julie's passions in life include her family, cooking, foraging mushrooms, fishing, hunting and dancing. Julie touched the lives of many in these activities. May her peace be profound as she is reunited with loved ones; both family and friends that have gone before her. We envision her with her angels and dancing in the sky!

The celebration of her life will be at the High Court Pub in Lanesboro on Saturday, Dec. 17, from noon to 4pm.

So sorry to hear of Julie's passing. Both she and Mike were customers of mine when I marketed fishing supplies to their business. She was always such a joy to visit with and had a great sense of humor. Both my wife Diane and I were honored to have been invited to their wedding reception and now share our sincere condolences to Mike and the entire Charlebois/Hagan family.
