Hello to the Tenk family. I was a childhood friend of Kalman. As I recall, he lived on Pleasant St. John Zahor was a friend of his and mine also. I hope this goofy photograph of Kalman and his friends will please you. The caption reads: 1955 7th Grade, St. Charles-James Zello, Cindy Connors, Raymond, Kalman Tenk (Raymond & Kalman not St. Charles students). Stillman St., Bridgeport, Connecticut. May he rest in peace. Cindy Connors Kane

Rest in peace Poppy, thank you for all the smiles and laughs! I´ll never forget his visits to the bus stop throughout my childhood-I´m so grateful to have known him. Sending love and big hugs to the entire family, I know he´s up there with Nanny watching over you all!

My heart go out to the entire family as they grieve, but I know he was received in heaven like a King. God bless Kal and all of the love he spread and personified. Though he is home with his Nora and finally feeling himself the family feels the loss and the bittersweet release in the torment of dementia. Respect and Love in his memory though knowing that he is finally free.
