Karla McGill Obituary
Karla dedicated her entire career to the hospitality and service industry, where she was known for her kindness, loving nature, and generosity. She touched the lives of many with her giving spirit, both professionally and personally.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher McGill; children, Jennifer (Geoff) Frazier, Corey McGill, and Sarah McGill; grandchildren, Emma Frazier, Rowan Mitchell, Cameron Frazier, Kathryn McGill, Logan Mitchell, and Calvin McGill. Karla is also survived by her sisters, Grace (Larry) Myers, Elizabeth (Sean) Gilligan, Michelle (Joe) Swatzki, Kristen (Scott) Armstrong, and Connie Pflipsen. She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Miltenberger Meyers, and siblings, Rose Emma, Mary Frances, and Greg Olsen.
Karla's hobbies included reading and spending cherished moments with her grandchildren and family, which brought her immense joy and fulfillment.
A celebration of life for Karla will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, an organization close to Karla's heart.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Karla's passing. I had her as a student when she was in Middle School and ran into her many times ar the slots where we would share old memories. Karla always had a huge smile and welcoming spirit. I know you will miss her terribly. Sarah and family, you have my deepest sympathy.

I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences and prayers to the family. I met Karla when I first moved to Delaware and she was managing Bonanza. Her smile was genuine and her friendliness warming. We kept in touch on and off. She will never be forgotten. I will always remember our friendship.

We will always remember Karla for her kindness, gentle spirit, and the beautiful smile she was never without. To us and our kids, she was like a "bonus" grandmother in the neighborhood, always so sweet, thoughtful, and forever gushing over the kids. It was a joy to watch the love she poured into her own grandchildren, and just as touching to see how deeply they loved her in return.
Though taken far too soon, she showed such strength and grace in the face of everything she was going through. We feel blessed to have known her. Karla´s warmth and love will not be forgotten.

You are one of the most beautiful spirited souls I have had the pleasure to call my friend. We have laughed, cried together, shared secrets, enjoyed countless texts, phone calls and day trips together. You were the first person I called when I was diagnosed with the cancer gene. The first person who comforted me and offered support when my late Father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I sat with you for hours at Milford Hospital on your chemo days, and never once did you complain or cry about your 13 year struggle with cancer. To say you were a pillar of strength is an understatement. You are my hero and most sincere friend. Right till the end, you fought so hard to overcome the big C. You were a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to six beautiful children. Those grandbabies were the center of your world. Know that your kind and strong spirit will truly live on in each of those grand kids. Fly high my friend, today you have earned your wings.
