I did not know Kate, but know her sister, Jorie. I just want to express my sincere, heartfelt sympathy and pray for strength for you to get through this time.

I am truly saddened by this news. Kate (Kathy as she was known to me) was a dear friend. We were high school chums who unfortunately fell out of touch as each of us grew into our adult lives. We shared wonderful teenage years together full of lots of fun and hijinx! This is how I will always remember her. My deepest sympathies go to all her family. With great affection, Kerry Neal

I just want to express on behalf of myself and I am sure many of Debbie Baxter's friends at St Leonard's Church in Toronto our sorrow at this time. Many of us did not know Kate except through Debbie, but we have shared with Debbie her concerns, joys and sorrows through this most difficult time. God bless.
