Kathleen Anne Wirtz

Our precious mother Kathleen Wirtz sadly passed away on December 21,2022 at the age of 66.

Kathleen is survived by her husband Frank Wirtz and three children Nichole Wirtz, Jason Wirtz and Christen Wirtz. Kathleen is survived by her two sisters Laura O'Brien & Lisa Pickering. Kathleen was predeceased by her mother Barbara O'Brien and father Richard O'Brien, sister Tara O'brien-Quinn and Uncle Anthony "Tony" Spadorcia.

Kathy was a dedicated mother and wife, first and foremost. She was married to her husband Frank for 46 years. They fell in love and were inseparable ever since. Of all the people she touched, her most proud achievement in life were her three children.

She was a woman of many creative talents. Kathy was a master cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family, especially over the holidays. Through the years she enjoyed gardening, decorating and shopping, her hands were rarely still. Her green thumb made every plant and flower she cared for bloom with stunning beauty.

She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. More importantly she laughed wholeheartedly for others, her laugh was infectious. She made friends everywhere she went. She was a stranger to no one and found great purpose sharing in the success, joy and challenges of those around her.

She devoted her life to her family. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children. Anyone who knew them knew that she was a star in their eyes, and that's all that ever mattered to her. She was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important the simplicity of living a life with those you LOVE!

We love her dearly and will never forget her tenacity, wit, charm, grace and undying love for others.

All are invited to her funeral service on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Saint Mary's Church, 115 Crescent Street, Quincy, MA 02169 at 10am.
