Kenneth “Ken” Wesley Davis, 48 of Grand Ridge, Florida, passed from this life on August 28, 2022.
Ken was born on December 9, 1973, in Levittown New York, to William “Bill” Davis and Barbara Graham. He had been a resident of the Florida Panhandle since 1992, coming from Levittown, New York on a baseball scholarship to Chipola Junior College. Ken worked for the Department of Corrections as a supervisor of classification. He was a true outdoorsman; he loved hunting, fishing, and exploring coral at the beach with his wife Jennifer. Every Sunday night you would find Ken and his family watching the sunset on the beach. In his free time, he loved weightlifting, playing co-ed softball with the prison, and he enjoyed umpiring for all ages of baseball. Ken was an avid college football fan, especially the Florida Gators. Go Gators! If you knew Ken, his charismatic personality and smile could light up any room. He was always the life of the party. Most of all, he loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father: William “Bill” Davis; stepmom: Dolly Davis; grandparents: William Wesley Davis Jr, Harriet, Barbara and Nelson Graham
He was survived by his wife: Jennifer Davis of Grand Ridge, Florida; mom: Barbara Graham of Pensacola, Florida; son: Gannon Davis of Marianna, Florida; daughter: Keileigh Cloud (Garrett Williams) of Grand Ridge, Florida; sisters: Kim Kelly (Scott) of Levittown, New York, Tammy Pletcher (Jeremy) of Gulf Breeze, Florida; Special Beach Family
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM, Friday, September 2,2022 at RCC in Marianna, Florida with Bro. Paul Smith and Bro Dylan Bass officiating. Interment will follow in Collins Chapel Cemetery in Malone, Florida. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.

We were childhood friends. Kids today won’t have the memories we had watching for streetlights to go on to go home. I remember your love and great accomplishments with baseball. May you Rest In Peace and your family get through this difficult time with wonderful memories.

We may not have know Ken for very long but when you were with him, you felt like you'd know him your whole lives. He had a great smile and was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the project. Jennifer and family, we are praying God gives you peace that passes all understanding. We love you and we hope we can pay back the kindness that Ken showed us.

Ken was so much a part of our family while he was Bill’s bailiff. He was so special and eased our minds about anything happening on his watch. We are lifting y’all all up in our prayers and asking God to circle you with His loving arms. Ken was a special man and will be sorely missed.
