Kenneth, I feel so lucky to have known you. When I first came to Myers, I thought people would just see me as another person. You saw me for who I really was, and you brought the best out of me. You taught me so many things that make me the person I am now, and I know that I will carry that part of you with me for the rest of my life. Thank you for everything, Kenneth, I will always remember those special moments I had with you through out my time growing up with you through school.

And for everyone else who is mourning for Kenneth, this poem is for you;

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled Flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
-Mary Elizabeth Frye-

I love you and miss you every single day, Kenneth. Rest in peace.

Kenneth was a wonderful son and friend to me and my Jonathan. These boys have known each other since first grade and my heart always had a warm spot for him. He treated Jon with respect and kindness and became his surrogate brother because they shared so many of the same qualities. I considered him my surrogate son because he was a kind soul in my home; a ray of sunshine that will be greatly missed. We love you so very much, Kenneth and life without you will never be the same. May God bless you in heaven and may God bless your family during this time of sorrow.

Kenneth, I wish we had become friends - we were on our way, I guess, and that is perhaps what I regret the most. The fact we never did get to reach the point of friendship. As a school, we grieve the loss of a classmate, of a life lost much too early, a wonderful person (as much as you might would have denied it), a friend. I'm sorry for the loss your family faces, the pain. I'm sorry for the pain you may have faced. We miss you and we care for you, but we're grateful you were here in the first place. I don't have any doubt you are going to a better place. To the family, I can't quite grasp the magnitude of your loss, but for all that I cannot I still wish upon you strength and love. All who hurt can pull through if they have the desire to.
