Kim Davis Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 24, 2024.
Kim Marie Beaulieu Davis, 58, of Bloomfield, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 after an incredible battle with Cancer.

She is now soaring high through Heaven.

Kim was a beacon for her inspirational strength and tenacity during her fight. Her caring, encouraging, and positive energy was known to illuminate the room. She radiated with beautiful qualities that will always be remembered.

Kim was prideful in her career as an Elite Sales Representative at American Airlines for 18 years. She exemplified and embodied the spirit of AA in her work and served others with grace in putting them first. Kim had several accomplishments and recognitions throughout her career, which included being #3 in the company for overall sales & customer service satisfaction in 2018. An award plaque, bearing her name, was fixed to the wall of a Super '80s aircraft entry way displaying her exceptional customer service. She earned her wings and is soaring high!

Outside of work, her Family & Friends were the most important to her as she was to them. She was loved by so many and had longstanding, strong relationships with each and every person in her world. The Holidays were her favorite time to spread pure joy. During the duration of her battle with cancer, she also used her time to be an incredible advocate for those who were also going through treatment. She truly enjoyed being the thoughtful, amazing woman that she was. Her charisma, strength, big heart & smile will be missed. To know Kim was to love her.

Born in New Britain, Kim leaves Herman and Lucille (Michaud) Beaulieu, their hearts heavy to lose their daughter so young. Best friend and fiancé, Tony Douglass, engaged within a strong companionship, spent 18 years dancing together. She will be deeply missed by her other surviving family members: her "Baby Blue Eyes" son Steven Beaulieu, daughter-in-law Anastazia Beaulieu, her dear sister Sherry DeLucia, niece and goddaughter Jessica DeLucia, and two granddaughter's Mya & Lilly Beaulieu. She also leaves behind bonus daughters, Jade & Sheridan Douglass and grandson Jacob.

God had placed her here to be a light in the darkness and to share his love with all.

Her faith was incredible, always giving Glory to God no matter the circumstance.

She would always make it known to never under estimate her.

The family would like to thank the staff at Yale and Smilow Caner Center for the years of specific care, compassion, and bedside manners for Kim.

My dear sweet friend, we met in high school and our friendship grew with each passing year, from friends having a blast, beach days in the summer, to dancing in the evening, then another chapter of our lives raising our kids who then had our beautiful grandkids. We supported each other thru it all and would always say we´ll be dancing in a nursing home together if it ever came to that, and we´d laugh together and cry together, through all the best times and then through all the difficult times. We watched our faith grow during all these years, you leaned on Jesus when you needed him most so I know when you met him he said "well done my good and faithful servant". I will miss our morning conversations and then the afternoon ones, and also the evening ones before bed too, and just your presence in our lives. You are always in our hearts, and deeply loved, until we see each other again one day, rest easy, no more pain, suffering or appointments! Love you oceans!

Kim and I shared a wonderful life long friendship. So many wonderful memories.
Her loving, kind thoughtful, generous personality made her unique.
I will ALWAYS cherish our hilariously fun times, capitol lunch hot dog runs after school, donuts in the parking lot ( in her pinto) on snowy days & dancing with Paula and Kim till our shoes fell off. I will miss our hours of phone chats and all that we shared & Kim would always end with saying " love you more "
I love you my sister and can´t wait to see you again in heaven .

Forever in my heart ,
Your friend Lisa

I met Kim at American Airlines. She was always smiling. My heart breaks for her family and Tony. I do know for sure without a shadow of doubt Kim is up there with God. When she was first diagnosed with breast cancer we did a walk. What an overcomer! She beat it for many years just not enough but long enough to show us how strong she was. I wish it was longer. Rest with the angels
You will always be remembered as the sweet voice of American Airlines

From the moment I met this extraordinary lady, I knew she was special. Just a warm ,caring , sincere way about her was so surreal. As we began to blend our lives together during the past 18 years, I can proudly say she was my best friend. Life sometimes throws you curve balls, but with each swing we were able to navigate this life journey together. Cancer cut her life short but it didn´t touch her spirit. A fighter to the end, she refused to give up. But you kept your eyes on Jesus as he welcomed you with open arms into his home. My confidant, soulmate, wife for life is who you will always be. Right there in my heart. Earth´s loss, Heaven´s gain. God has a very special Angel. You earned your wings honey and your soaring high. Until we meet again, RIP! I love you

I was fortunate to not only work with Kim but also to call her a friend. Kim was not just a colleague; she was an extraordinary individual whose presence radiated positivity and boundless energy.

Kim's passion for life, her unwavering dedication to her family and friends, and her remarkable willingness to go above and beyond for others were truly remarkable qualities that defined her character. She approached every interaction with warmth and kindness, making everyone feel valued and appreciated. She was one of a kind, a great friend, and will be deeply missed.

From the moment we met, I knew you were my soul mate. That crystal clear night sky with the stars & the moon shining so bright, so also would be our relationship rooted firmly in Christ Jesus. He would be the light to show us the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except by Him. Kim you are my inspiration and hope. I know you are in His loving arms as He welcomed you to Heaven. May you rest in peace. I Love you mountains!
