Kitty Jo Bridges was born on May 28, 1956 to Harvey James Bridges Jr and Martha O'Shell Bridges in Knoxville Tennessee. At the young age of seven months old, they made the journey to their new destination in Cleveland, Ohio, where they lived until she was 14 years old when they made their way back home to Tennessee. Kitty met the father of her children Thomas Bunch not long after at Lake City high school where they graduated in 1974. In 1975 Kitty would give birth to her daughter Sonjia, and shortly after in 1977 to her youngest daughter Tyrine.

Mountain Lake Marina became a staple in Miss Kitty's life, whether it was sunbathing on the houseboat, firing up the grill at the dock to feed the fisherman, or playing poker with the men where "no women were allowed" You could find Miss Kitty wherever the party was.

In 1993 she became a Nana for the first time, in 1996 Kitty received her CNA certification for the first time. From then on, she spent her time, caring for others and pouring her unconditional love into her patients and loved ones, Especially her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

After many years of putting everyone else before herself, in 2011 when she lost her daddy, Kitty reconnected with her lifelong friend Miles Owens, who little did she know was her soulmate. This took Kitty and the whole family right back to Mountain Lake.

Kitty and Miles spent the next 14 years making memories, creating and checking off their bucket list while bringing friends and family along with them, even creating new ones along the way. From toes in the sand with a glass in their hand with the Indian creek crew, to the beautiful glaciers and whale watching in Alaska, all the way to the rolling Hills in Ireland, where they kissed the Blarney stone together, Miss Kitty And Miles lived life to the fullest until the very end together, where they will rest peacefully for eternity in the arms of each other.
