Kyree Rashad Brown born to Kenya and Curtis Brown, Jr., of Palmdale, California, was
suddenly called home, Tuesday, April 6, 2010.
Born in Los Angeles, California on November 3, 1995, Kyree Rashad Brown attended Paraclete High School, in Lancaster, CA.
He was a funny and lovable baby. While learning to eat table food his favorite breakfast food was bacon, which he renamed “Bacme. For lunch he would ask for “Mitasuni’ which translated as Bologna. At age four, on a flight back to Los Angeles from New York with his Nana and Great Grandmother; he was overly active. His Nana told him that she was going to throw him out the window; and his response to her was “Not today Nana, not today. His favorite movie as a child was “Good Burger with Keenan and Kel. He would walk around all day saying “Strawberry Facuzzi, instead of “Jacuzzi. Eventually, he learned how to speak normal English. Although a child, Kyree had a very serious and quiet demeanor. He loved kids; and was liked by everyone. Kyree enjoyed spending time with his family, especially on the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays. He absolutely loved sweet potato pie, and he ate lots of it during the holidays.
Everyone had a nickname for Kyree: He was known as Ky BB by Auntie Pam; Ree Ree by Nana;
E-Double by his surrogate Uncle Andre Stuart; Boo Boo by Grandmama; Kyte by his Big Poppa; "B" by his dad, and Poppa Gee by Auntie Asia.
Kyree’s hobbies were music, video games, television programs such as; “Everybody Hates Chris, In Living Color, “Lincoln Heights and the “Jamie Fox Show. He was also a fan of Tyler Perry’s “House of Payne, “Meet the Browns and a huge fan of NBA Sports TV.
But most importantly, Kyree’s passion was the game of basketball. There was nothing that he loved more than basketball. He had much respect for his coaches Gary and Todd; and looked forward to playing for the Paraclete High School Basketball Team. Although he suffered from a heart condition, Kyree never allowed it to keep him from trying to accomplish his dreams, as he continuously gave 100% to the game. Kyree passed doing what he loved best; playing the game of basketball.
