What a man! He loved his wife and family first and foremost...everything he did was for his family. A family that we envied. Who wouldn't want to be part of The Hagan clan! I cry just thinking such a great man is no longer here to make us want to be better. I'm so sorry for all of the Hagan Family, Mr. Hagan was always kind and good natured towards me, I was so appreciative.. Thank You.

My favorite memory of Monte is his recital of a poem at an FBI Alumni meeting. He was asked to do it for several years. I also remember going to a pre-opening lunch at BBC as a trial run. It was fun to be there for the beginning of a wonderful new endeavor for an old friend. We will miss him and his wonderful view of life.

Pat,
I am so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. It was a pleasure knowing him.
I know I have shared this story with you before, but when I think of your dad, I think about the time I was volunteering at a Hosparus health fair. I was arranging brochures on the display table when one of the flyers had your dad's picture on it. What also amazed me was that the other volunteer on the brochure was my wife's Uncle Lyle. Uncle Lyle also lives in southern Indiana and apparently was a Hosparus volunteer with your dad.
Pat there is nothing anyone can say at a time like this so I will not try. I just want you to know that my prayers are with you and your family. If you need anything, just want to talk or just need someone to listen, I am your guy.
Jim
