He was more than just a grandpa to me, he was a kind loving soul sent from heaven itself who´s vibrant happiness always radiated off of him no matter where he was. Even when he fell ill he would still make those around him smile and laugh. He will truly be missed and I hope that he is in a better place so he can continue spreading his joy

I was sad to hear about our loss of Larry. He was a good friend during the time we worked together at JHU/APL. I remember our work on Laboratory-wide enterprise communications including the FDDI Counter Ring which at the time was very leading edge technology. He was a good man and I found him to be a friendly and rational colleague. My sincere condolences to his family.
