TOWNSEND - Laura A. Grace, 27, formerly of Townsend, died Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at her home.

Laura was born in Harvard, December 18, 1990, a daughter of Kevin G. Grace and Tracy A. (Putnam) Alderson and resided most of her life in Townsend.

Laura was a 2009 graduate of Nashoba Valley Technical High School in Westford where her focus of study was Culinary Arts. Following her graduation from high school, she continued in her love of the art of cooking by working as a chef at Red Tail Country Club in Devens and Bull Run Restaurant in Shirley.

Besides her mother of Gardner and her father of Dracut, she leaves her son, Liam Potter of Fitchburg; her daughter, Shaylynn Potter of Fitchburg; two sisters, Christina Grace of Whitinsville, Stephanie Alderson of Townsend; her stepfather, Kevin Alderson of Gardner; her step mother, Joann Grace of Dracut; her grandparents, Donna and Lionel McCaie of Gardner, Craig and Jean Alderson of Waterford, Maine and Edward Grace of Naples, Florida; two nieces, Abagail and Faith Marie of Whitinsville. She also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Ronald Putnam of Fitchburg, and grandmother, Laura Grace of Harvard.
