Lawrence Justus, 78, passed away on March 20, 2025, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Born on January 23, 1947, in Sheboygan, Lawrence was a lifelong resident of the community. He graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1965 and later earned a degree in purchasing. His career spanned many years as a purchasing agent for Will Pemco and RB Royal. Even after retiring from his profession, he remained active with various part-time jobs.

Lawrence proudly served his country in the U.S. Army before continuing his service in the Army Reserves. Though he was not deployed overseas, his dedication to duty was unwavering.

Beyond his professional and military life, Lawrence had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, finding peace and fulfillment in nature. He was also a skilled woodworker who crafted beautiful furniture pieces that will be cherished by his family for generations to come.

He is survived by his wife Carol Justus; his children: Jeremy Justus (ex-wife Kayla), Troy (Rhonda) Justus, and Dawn Justus; stepchildren: Scott Mohr, Tammie Lasecki, and Jennifer (Todd) Jetzer; grandchildren: Gaige Justus, Christopher Justus (Cindall), Jadyn Jetzer, Jordan Oelhafen, Taylor Oelhafen, Zachary Oelhafen, and Elijah Mohr; great-grandchildren: Trenton Justus, Cameron Justus, Isaac Justus, Dominic Justus, and Violet Taylor; siblings: Jeff (Mary) Justus, Tom Justus, and Tim (Marilyn) Justus; and sister-in-law Joanne Wall.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alex and Lorraine Justus; brother Robert Justus; brother-in-law Wayne Wall; and sisters-in-law Mary Justus and Connie Justus.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Aurora Medical Center, the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, Moments Hospice, and Sheboygan Health Services for their compassionate care during Lawrence's final days.

A private family service for inurnment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park at a later date.

Lawrence's memory will live on through the love he shared with his family and the craftsmanship of his woodworking that remains as a testament to his skill and dedication.

My deepest sympathy to Larry´s family. I will miss seeing Larry and his grandson in our community pool this summer. He was a very nice man and a great neighbor.

I graduated with Larry, a nice guy. I'd run into Larry at Walmart on the north side and we talked about the past. I hadn't seen him for awhile, dang I'm going to miss the guy. A genuinely nice man has passed.
