To the family of LCPL Joe Jackson; my thoughts and prayers go out to this young man's family. Although I did not know him and being that White Swan is a smaller community, our paths may have crossed, I did know his foster parents. Although his life was shortened, he touched many lives and those memories won't be forgotten. Stay strong together.

To the Parents and Family of Joe,
I only met Joe one time, it was at Sea-Tac Airport when he got off the plane with my Son. I want you to know that my Son loved him very much. He couldn't wait to spend some time with him outside of the Marines. We live in Marysville, just on the other side of the Mountains. My Son LCPL Brevik Harris said Joe was so "cool". I spoke with Brevik on Monday, his heart was very heavy. He was on patrol with Joe at the time of his passing. I want you all to know that not an hour has gone by that I'm not thinking of you. I'm am so so very sorry for your loss. I have no idea what you're going through but my heart aches for you. I pray for your hearts to heal and that you go on, the way all "our boys" would want us to. Please know, Joe was loved by his Marine Brothers very much. Again, I am so sorry. May God Bless each and every one you through this most tragic time.
Love and Heartfelt Condolences,
Fellow Marine Mom - Dina Austin
