Lenny Tullier Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 16, 2025.
Leonard "Lenny" John Tullier, Jr. passed away on March 11, 2025, in Lafayette, Louisiana, at the age of 62.

He is survived by his sisters, Rhonda Guillory (Buddy) and Paula Ryan, and his brother, Keith Tullier (Erin), and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Leonard John Tullier, Sr., his mother, Lola Suire Tullier, and his beloved sisters, Nola Elaine Tullier and Sheri Tullier Legendre.

A man of few words, Lenny had a gruff voice but a good heart. Known for his unannounced visits, he preferred to drop in on family and friends on his own schedule. In a group, he had a habit of observing more than speaking. He did enjoy a good joke, however, and his dimples would come out when he smiled.

Lenny loved LSU football and baseball, and enjoyed gardening. He was fiercely independent and strong-willed and lived life on his own terms. He was also physically strong and could often accomplish alone what normally would take two or more to do. He was a hard worker and always ready to lend a hand.

We will miss the presence of our gentle giant.
