Obituary
Leo Joseph Pesce, 82, of Cape Coral, died May 30, 2002. Leo was born January 20, 1920 in Manhattan, NY, a son of the late Frank and Mary Mastro Pesce. He was retired from the Lee County School District where he had been employed in the maintenance division. He was the widow of Bernice Pesce who died in 1980 and was also predeceased by a son Richard and a brother, Lawrence Pesce. he was a member of the North Fort Myers Senior Citizens and had resided here since 1976 coming from the Bronx, NY.
He is survived by a daughter, Mary Shea of Springfield, VA and a son, Frank M. Pesce of Bronx, NY, eight grandchildren, brother Rocco Pesce and a sister, Jenze Pizzo both of the Bronx, NY. Also special friends, Gerhard Scholten and Shirley Williamson.
Visitation Sunday, June 2, 2002 from 2 - 4 p.m. at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 Pine Island Rd. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 3, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Coral Ridge Cemetery.
