Leonard QUILTY Obituary
(Past MPP for South Renfrew, Past Reeve of Admaston Township,
Past Warden of Renfrew County and
Recipient of the Knight of Saint Sylvester)
Peacefully at Bonnechere Manor on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the age of 94. Leonard, beloved husband of the late Irene Wadsworth. Leonard was the last surviving child of the late Michael and Margaret (nee O'Hare). Loving father of Mike (Carol), and Pat (Carol). Predeceased by infant daughter Mary. Cherished grandpa of Laurie, Kathy (Jason), Shawny (Dave), Jim (Robyn), Ryan (Melissa), Jennifer (Jeff), Liana (Andrew) and Rob. Proud great-grandpa of 12. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Leonard was a lifelong resident and proud farmer in Admaston Township. Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home 310 Argyle St. S., Renfrew on Sunday, May 18, 2014 from 7-9 p.m., Monday, May 19, 2014 from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. and after 8:45 a.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church Mount St. Patrick on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Holywell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bonnechere Manor Foundation "Auditorium Fund or Palliative Care" or St. Patrick's Church. Mike and Pat, Our most sincere condolences.....I'll always remember Len being among the first to pay a welcoming visit to us when we first moved onto the Whelan Road. He always had time for a friendly chat. He will be missed.

My thoughts are with your family, during this time of loss. Thinking of Leonard, I want to sit taller in my chair. He was a a true gentleman and a fine community ambassador. I hope he is with Irene, who, when I was in grade one, would let me direct the rhythm band, if she was called away from the practice. Together these two helped to shape many lives and now they will live on in our hearts and memories, forever. Keep the faith and stay strong.
