Lillian Lundy Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 10, 2024.
Lillian M. Lundy (Nichols) passed away peacefully at home on September 17, 2024, at the age of 90. Born on May 26, 1934, at a spiritual camp in Chesterfield, Indiana. She was the cherished daughter of Lucy Ayers and Ralph Nichols.

In December of 1950, Lillian married Kenneth W. Lundy, and together they built a life full of love, laughter, and joy. They had four children: Laura (Terry) Pottala, the late Kenneth M. Lundy, Terri (David) Bicanic, and Karen (Grahame) Johnston.

Lillian was known for bringing elegance and culture to her community through her passion for fashion and cosmetics. She had a wide range of interests-she loved to sew, play tennis, and even taught yoga. Lillian and her husband, Ken, shared a special love for dancing, which led them to many celebrations and big-band events, most notably during their 50th wedding anniversary.

Her grace, creativity, and zest will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

Ken and Lillian were predeceased by their only son, Ken, in 1993. They are survived by their three daughters, ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to honor Lillian's life will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Christ Community Church.
