VAN PELT
LILLIAN TAYLOR SINKS VAN PELT, passed peacefully on January 11, 2013, at Providence Point, Pittsburgh PA. She is survived by her husband, William Van Pelt of Haverford PA; her children, George W. Sinks (Jamie) of Washington DC, Lillian Sinks Sweeney (John) of Pittsburgh PA, Lucius F. Sinks Jr. (Stacy) of Franklin MA; 4 grandchildren, Taylor Sweeney, Rebecca, Alex and Hannah Sinks; and one sister, Nancy Taylor Dougherty of Mantoloking NJ.
Born March 6, 1934 in Chestnut Hill, Lilly was a graduate of Springside Academy and Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nursing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St., Pittsburgh PA 15243. A Memorial Service will be held at St. David's Episcopal Church in Wayne PA,
11 A.M., Saturday, January 26th.

Lilly was one of the funniest women I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Her smile was absolutely infectious. She will be sorely missed.
