Linda Dilling Acker, 81, passed away on May 3, 2025, in Altoona, PA. Born on March 5, 1944, She was adopted by John H. and Nellie (Snoberger) Dilling, Linda was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg, Class of 1962.

She was a lover of books, an avid puzzle solver, and enjoyed cooking. Her porch was a gathering place for friends and a site of many cherished conversations.

She is survived by her six children, daughters Natalie, Nellie Cowher (Denny), Amy Knisely (Don), Melinda Acker (Terry A. Thompson), and sons Andrew and Christopher. Linda was the proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister Brenda Warner and nephew David Dilling.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her brother William Dilling, and her granddaughter Rebecca Dicken.

At Linda's request, there will be no service. In her memory, contributions may be made to the Roaring Spring Library.
