LINDA NELL ALLISON

Linda Nell (Harlow) Allison, 85, of Clearwater, FL and formerly of Big Stone Gap, VA passed away on February 2, 2025, in Ft. Myers, FL. Linda attended Concord College, Athens, WV and was an elementary school teacher in Coalwood, WV. Linda was a dedicated homemaker, wedding coordinator, and avid reader. She loved children and family gatherings were some of her most treasured times. Linda worked diligently with the entertainment for the Big Creek High School Owls' reunions. For many years she tirelessly volunteered and enlisted family members Freddie, Curtis, Bobby, Dottie, and Ron to help make the reunions fun and memorable. Linda was predeceased by her husband Fred Allison; daughter Terri Gaynair; parents Harvey and June Harlow; siblings Shannon Harlow, H.E. Harlow, and Sue Harlow. Survivors are her beloved grandson Andrew Gaynair (Cassie), siblings: Curtis Harlow (Helen), Bobby Harlow, Dorothy Crabtree (Ron), Gary Harlow (Patty), and Jody Jacobsen (Steve); sisters in law Christine Harlow and Claudia Burdette; as well as many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews. Other dear ones to Linda are Robert Gaynair (Leigha), Angie and A. J. Orndorff (Crystal). Bobby Harlow, Jill Kiefner, Gary and Patty Harlow were especially involved in her care since her move to Florida. Linda will be remembered for her commitment to family and community.
