Omg i just learned of this. Dear, sweet Linda. As young teens in Caracas about 7th grade, she and i "went steady" for a time. She was the most beautiful and sweetest girl i ever knew, and i was SO proud to walk with her. In early high school she moved to Miami and i went to a prep school in Miami for a year and visited her then. We went separate ways cross country till we reconnected again online years later via video calls.

I knew her to be always well mannered, socially proper and graceful, physically beautiful, and just had a very kind sweet heart. The running humorous memory between us was how much we both liked sappy Johnny Mathis back then even at age 13.

Now and then she proudly sent me fotos of her sisters and babies and her parents, too. I have them all still, of course.

It squeezes my heart ever so hard to know she is gone from here now. Linda, you influenced me my whole life in ways and to depths you surely never knew. Thank you for being a good and loving friend. I'll miss you for the rest of my life, and i hope we meet again.

I thought I recognized her. I saw Coffy, for the 1st time in a long time, the beginning of summer. Very sorry to hear of your passing.
RIP.
