Linda Kotal Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 22, 2025.
Linda Ann Kotal, née Bulinski, 62, passed away on July 25th, 2025 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Linda was born on April 28th, 1963 in Elgin, Illinois to Raymond and Eileen Bulinski. She grew up in Carpentersville, Illinois and graduated from Dundee Community High School in 1981. Alongside being a devoted wife and proud mother of two, she worked in various service industries whether it was in hospitality, restaurant service, or as a nurse for the sick and elderly. Above all else, Linda's life was defined by her love and care for others.

Soon after high school, Linda met Keith, and together they began their life in Florida. Their marriage was marked by laughter, resilience, and a devotion to one another that carried them through both joys and hardships. They shared not only a home, but a partnership that inspired everyone around them. Their greatest joy was found in raising their children and creating a lifetime of lasting memories together.

Linda is survived by her children Christopher and Ryan, her sister Karen, and her brothers Raymond and John. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith, her parents Raymond and Eileen, and her brother Jim.

A memorial service will be held on the 21st of September at 2 pm located at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Charles, Illinois. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate Linda's life. A wake will then be held at her brother Raymond's house in Elgin, Illinois following the service.

In the quiet cruelty of life's unfairness, we clutch both love and sorrow in the same hand. Yet through despair, we will find strength again in the memories that cannot be taken from us. Linda was a shining beacon in every life she touched and her love a warmth that will be missed dearly.

"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." James 1:12
