To the Roger’s Family

I'm really sorry to hear about your Dad. We know that he is now with God in a better place with his suffering gone. Your dad will always be with you; his spirit and goodness will be part of you no matter where you go.

I know that you wanted, needed, and hoped for more time to spend with your father but the time you did spend with him I know would have meant so much to him.

God gives us examples on this earth of how we should live our lives and your father was one of the best examples I know.

With my deepest sympathy, your cousin

To all of my cousins please accept my heartfelt condolences. My fondest memories of your Dad is when I was little he was this giant of a man who had a deep gentle voice. I will never forget him, and I know that he is in heaven now with my Dad and Aunt Mary and they will look over all of us.

Mr Rogers was my principal at Lord Selkirk School from 1972-1974 he was such a kind man. I was so surprise when I went to a New Brunswick picnic in Stanley Park with my Mom & Dad in 1973 to see Mr & Mrs Rogers & a large bunch of children appear there I was only 5 years old & I said to my Mom & Dad
"THERE'S MR ROGERS" He heard him & came over & talk to us. It turned out that Mrs Rogers was from New Brunswick as well as my Dad. It turned out my Dad knew some of her family from back there & she knew some of my Dad's family. They invited me for water melon with them what a large water melon that was. I have never forgotten that. And when school started in Sept. that year I could,nt wait to tell all the other kids at school about it.
He will be miss by all his family & many many friends but he is now with his beloved Mary & son Lawrence watching over all of us down here. Rest In Peace.

We are sorry to read of the passing of Lloyd Rogers. When we registered our two daughters at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, it was Lloyd Rogers who greeted us at the door and made us all feel right at home and welcome. He was a man of great warmth and faith. He seemed to be a man that spent much of his time and energy caring for the concerns and needs of others. We express our sincere sympathy to the Rogers family.
