Logan Roth Edward Lumm

April 9, 1974 - March 19, 2025

If there was ever a man who could make you laugh until you cried, shred a guitar solo that made your soul ache, and fix your electrical panel all in the same day, it was Logan Lumm. Known on the airwaves as "Beefcake" during his radio days, Logan brought his sharp wit and larger-than-life personality to audiences in Phoenix and later Shreveport, leaving a legacy of humor, charm, and an uncanny ability to spin a good story.

Born with a natural ear for music, Logan could play just about anything-guitar, piano, you name it-without breaking a sweat. He didn't just hear music; he felt it, understood it, and lived it. Whether it was a classic rock anthem, a bluesy riff, or something completely off the cuff, his playing could stop a room in its tracks. He had the rare gift of making music feel like a conversation, and it was one he loved having with anyone willing to listen.

After radio, Logan found his calling in electrical work, proving that his ability to light up a room extended beyond his personality. He became a highly sought-after electrician, working on high-end homes and businesses, ensuring that the future was always a little brighter-sometimes quite literally.

But perhaps where Logan truly shined brightest was in the gaming world, where he was a force to be reckoned with. Across the globe, fellow gamers knew him for his high-level skills, wicked humor, and ability to turn a simple match into an unforgettable experience. Whether he was leading a team to victory or just cracking jokes in the chat, Logan had a way of making even the most virtual of worlds feel real.

Logan leaves behind a family who adored him, including his mother, Linda Westmoreland; father, Ralph (Carol) Lumm; children, Kylie Lumm, Matthew Guthrie, and Kyler McKibbin; granddaughter, Charlotte McKibbin; siblings, Sarah (Michael) Rogers, Carrie Westmoreland, Ryan and Tyler Lumm; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. He is now reunited with those who went before him, including his grandparents, Logan and Pat Westmoreland and Francis and Teresa Lumm; several aunts and uncles; and his beloved cousin, Charlene Westmoreland.

Logan was the proud father of three children, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Kylie was his princess, the best medicine to his soul, and his source of endless joy. Kyler, so much like his father in countless ways, was someone Logan deeply hoped to guide with strong morals and stability. And Matthew, with his boundless curiosity and the world's biggest heart, amazed Logan every day with his intelligence and kindness. While he wasn't always present in their daily lives, his love for them was unwavering, and he carried immense pride in the incredible people they have become..

While we wish we had more time, Logan lived his 50 years with a fire that couldn't be dimmed. He made us laugh, he made us think, and he made sure we always had good music to listen to. So crank up your favorite song, tell a joke that would make him proud, and remember Logan the way he'd want-smiling, with a guitar in one hand controller in the other and a mischievous twinkle in his eye.

Play on, Solly. You'll be missed beyond words.

P.S. Happy 51st Birthday, your first in heaven. Celebrate hard up there - we are celebrating you down here.

Logan was my boyfriend for a short time in high school, and always my friend. I remember him being so chill, quick with a joke and a smile. We had touched based through Facebook several years ago, catching up and reminiscing. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing.
