Lois Monson Obituary
Lois was born on September 12, 1930 to Walter and Helen (Loebaka) Reiter in Skokie, IL. They later moved to Hayward and she attended Hayward High School where she met Robert Monson. They were married on May 22, 1948 at First Lutheran Church in Hayward. She worked at Ben Franklin in Hayward for many years until her retirement. She was an avid reader.
Lois is survived by two daughters, Mary Kirkland of Hayward, and Lynn Monson of CA; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents; her husband, Robert; one son, Harley; one brother, Walter, Jr., and one sister who passed away in her childhood.

Dear Mary...
I was so very saddened to learn of your mother's passing. She was a grand lady. We had many good times together through the years, cooking out at Harley's in Platteville, sitting around your parents' kitchen table, enjoying the campfire at Wiley Lake. I will miss her so much. My prayers and hugs are with you and your kids.
