Hello Lorette, Sam, Leo, Emile, and your families. My sincere condolences over your loss. I think very fondly of my Aunt Louise and wish I could have been there to wish her farewell. I was with my own family in Italy, only returning a few days ago. Thank you, Lorette, for taking the time to call me.
Unfortunately, I also was not able to forward the information to my siblings in time for an appropriate response. I will tell my mother today about Louise's passing. Mom is in a Devonshire continuing care home, and doing well. But she suffers from dementia and only momentarily retains information. She is aware enough to appreciate the memory of Louise, but not likely to remember it tomorrow.
I like the spirit of your mother as recalled by the obituary and comments of others. I told my own children about your mom's singing ability and her willingness to bring life to a room full of relatives.
I was shocked to read that some of you are in your 50s and 60s. I thought I was the only one. My memories of you are somewhere a few years ago but you are still important to me and I hope Louise's passing reminds you, as it does me, that life is truly short and worth living well. While success is important, however one defines it, it is our relationships that matter most. I hope ma tante's passing treats you gently, and that you face today with remembrances of a unique and special life lived by a wonderful mother.

Earlier today I heard about Mrs Desnoyers passing away last week. I have spent the evening reflecting on how lucky I was on having her as a neighbour since I was a child. My three children were blessed with the same privilege. She was a wonderful friend to the Hoflin and the Forget families. We will miss her dearly.

It was great seeing all of you "my cousins" Lorette, Sam, Leo & Emil at your Mom's prayers. Sorry we couldn't make it to the funeral the next day. Your mom was a great lady and will be missed by many of us. Sincere sympathies to all.

What a wonderful Obituary, it brought many great memories and smiles to me. I remember as a young girl in Morinville, when my mother (Alma Letourneau) and Louise would get together...mom used to call Louise "La Bananne". Of course there was always singing, never on key but lots of fun. I'm sorry we will not be able to be present, but will be thinking of you.
Our deepest sympathy to all of Louise's family. She will surely be missed.

Our sympathy to the family. So sorry to hear about Auntie. I will always remember her rendition of "I'm a Lonely Little Petunia". I always thought she had the most beautiful voice, because I am also tone deaf. Love, Bob & Cindy Kaczmar(Schafers) & Meggie, Jessica and Guy Stapleton

Louise may be gone now to be with Gerry, but will never be forgotten . Being good neighbours for 15 yrs. (Wellington)we had many morning coffees and many laughing gab sessions in the alley . I will always treasure her memories forever .

To family of Louise:
I had the honour to spend time with Louise since moving into the Citadel in St.Albert. Louise shared many interesting stories/events of her life with myself. All expressed in a humble yet homourous and fun loving nature. She had a full life. It is with great respect and appreciation I will remember Louise. My condolences to all her family members. Take comfort in knowing she now rests in peace.
