Lucille Helena Fiorentino

It is with the heaviest of hearts that our family announces the passing of our dear mother, Lucille Helena Fiorentino, on April 3, 2024. She is survived by her three daughters, son, and two grandchildren. Mom was a one of a kind, strong-willed, and fiercely independent spirit. She had a great sense of humor and was intellectually gifted. Mom graduated with top honors from Kingsborough Community College, Brooklyn College undergraduate and graduate schools, and the Post Graduate Center for Mental Health. She worked as a Special Education teacher, and later became a Clinical Therapist, spending her summers volunteering at both Special Ed camps and facilities. In her later years, she was an adjunct professor at Brooklyn College before she retired. She treasured her books, listening to podcasts, loved all kinds of music, and film noir. Her favorite actress was Bette Davis. Mom adored watching old TV shows and the simpler, sweeter times they represented. She also loved watching The Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock movies. What made Mom happiest was being surrounded by and treating her family to big meals on special occasions. She was 78 years old. We miss you immensely, Mom, but we know you are at peace. Love you forever.
