I am so sad to hear that she is gone but I know that she is in the arms of her Lord. She would say she had a direct line to God and laugh her big belly laugh. I first met my friend Lynda in 2002 staring and smiling at me across the table. She walked up to me introduced herself and said "I am going to be your sponsor. So be it. She was so gracious, loving, giving and REAL. I asked someone at FRCNA Convention this past weekend. I'm sorry to say I hadn't seen her in awhile. I came to Tampa and went to dinner. My heart is heavy. She has been on my mind a lot the last month. Condolences to the family she will always be in heart. Condolances also for Cindy.

Rest In Peace Ms. Lynda Swallow! You were anointed and had so much wisdom! I am so glad I have all our messages to encourage me and inspire me! You helped me so much with my guilt and grief early in my recovery. Because of you I still have my 19 years. You inspired me and will continue to inspire me in spirit! Love you Miss Lynda Swallow!!

Ms Lynda saved my life and showed me how to be a respectful, loving and caring person myself. Ms Lynda did more for me than I could ever explain, I always said she was God's own Angel here on earth. Ms Lynda gave more than anyone I know. I will love her forever and she will not be forgotten

I met Linda when I first moved to Florida in 2004... my life was a mess at that time and she was always there to listen and give ES&H... She was my sponsor for a short period of time and I will always remember her unconditional, loving nature.! She Will surely be missed.

Mrs Lynda oh how amazing you were. You were incredibly sweet and cared so dearly for people. I remember meeting you when I first started doing hair (15years ago) and giving you the biggest hugs you were always one of my favorites you look just like my grandma. I remember when my grandma passed and you walked in the shop 2 weeks later and I had to do a triple take cause I swear yall were long lost siblings. But when I cried you just gave me that big hug. Always so sweet asking about my daughter and how I'm doing. You were always my favorite. You will be forever missed!!!!!

Lynda was one of a very, very, few people that NEVER gave up on me. No matter how many times I went back out she always welcomed me back and even allowed me to stay at her house even when I wouldn't have let me stay. That was Lynda though. Love, compassion and empathy through and through. I know that I'm clean today because of her love. She will be dearly missed by hundreds and hundreds, if not thousands of lives she touched.

No matter how her day was going, Lynda always wanted to know about ours. I loved how she checked in with all of us...staff and residents alike. She knew our stories, and cared for all of us as her own. She lifted us up as only Lynda could...she was, and will continue to be, our guardian angel. Of course, that does not mean I will ever forget her mischievous smile and laugh! Much love to you, Lynda...and to all of your family.

We met in Daytona 10 years ago at a convention. She was with a red-haired sponsee, and the only place available at a restaurant to eat was at Johnny Rockets, terrible food. I knew instantly that we would be friends.
