I was sorry to hear of Peg's passing. We worked together for many years at the Guide Centre. I still want to be like her when I "grow up". She was much loved and will be missed by so many. My heart goes out to her family.
With Sympathy,
Ann Heath

To the family of Peg Taylor:
Peg sang with the Calgary Guiders' Glee Club for many years. We always enjoyed her fine sense of humor and her lovely alto voice. She was a lovely person, so kind and so funny. I remember well singing with her at Christmas time when we would go carolling, and later, when Peg no longer sang with the Glee Club, going to her apartment and carolling for the residents. Peg would always have a lovely little lunch for us when we were done.
Peg gave my daughter Rachel a wonderful gift when she was born- her Brownie pin, which I saved, and which Rachel wore when she became a Brownie. When Rachel was a young girl, she collected paper serviettes, and Peg used to give her a few each time Rachel and I came down to the Girl Guide Centre. Rachel has very fond memories of Peggy from when she worked in the store there.
The world was indeed a better place for Peg having inhabited it!
