ZAPPA
Marcia Ann, 74 of Ridgewood, NJ, passed away at Valley Hospital ICU on Tuesday June 18. Born in Weirton, VA, she graduated from the Allegheny School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA. After receiving her RN she joined the U.S. Air Force as a 1st lieutenant flight nurse and was stationed at Brooke Air Field in Texas. She was predeceased by her sister Kathryn and her parents Mary and Stanley Lesheski of Weirton. Marcia moved to Southern California in 1961 where she met and married her husband of 48 years, Charles. The family moved from Los Angeles to Ridgewood in 1975. Marcia worked as a staff nurse for a medical group in Fair Lawn for 19 years and then as a facilities manager for the Williams Companies corporate apartment in Manhattan for 11 years. The couple has one son, Stanley Jason of Oliver, British Columbia. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
