I've been thinking about who we choose as heroes,You are definitely at the top of the list.
When our society focuses on celebrity and talking TV presenters who have nothing to say.Let,our children turn to you, your bravery and courage. Some celebrity should make sure your children are well taken care of.
Some College or University should grant them a full ride. Sweet Angel you are at peace too soon. Even in one of America's most horrific events you appeared elegant, impeccably dressed emerging with grace. Blessings to your family and Blessings for your peace. We will never forget you.

Marcy Borders, you will never be forgotten! You are a mighty warrior who made it down 81 flights of stairs in heels, with your hair still slayed on one of the most horrific and terrifying times of your life. I will always look to you when I want to give up because you’re a courageous, powerful and miraculous women with a will and determination that forced you to keep going down those steps and into safety. You had the strength of God with you and several angels guarding you on that horrific day. When I read your story and saw your picture. I WILL NEVER forget 911! That image will forever be imbedded in my mind, and in remembrance of you on 911. I’m so sorry you had to endure so much pain, Marcy Borders. From your videos, I can see you were a beautiful soul, full of life and personality. You are now in a much better place resting peacefully and shedding light on those up in heaven. May God continue to shine on your children and the rest of your family. Praying for God’s comfort and peace to your family, friends and everyone that knew you. Rest easy Mighty warrior/Queen

My Red Wing, MN high school Health classes would like to express their condolences to Marcy Border's family and friends. We just watched her in an interview done in 2006 on 9/11 as we talked about mental health and PTSD. Marcy was one of four interviewed and she was the one the class was most interested in. Here was a beautiful, young, capable, professional woman who could hardly leave her house. "what has happened to her?" "Has she gotten back to work?" "Did she have a family?"... We are saddened to hear of her death at such a young age but are happy she was able to have a better life after her treatment. My students will not forget her! Hugs and prayers to all her loved ones.

You became an icon and that photo helps other to never forget what happened on that day. I'm so sorry you had to suffer. I'm glad you were able to overcome some of your pain remembering that day. With this memorial picture, I see so much beauty and sense how intelligent, hard working, fun and awesome you must have been.
