I Love You Because...

I love you because you understand dear
Every single thing I try to do.
You're always there to lend a helping hand, dear.
I love you most of all because you're you.

No matter what the world may say about me,
I know your love will always see me through.
I love you for the way you never doubt me.
But most of all I love you 'cause you're you.

I love you because, because my heart is ligther
honey everytime, everytime I'm walking by your side
and I love you, yes I love you because the future is a little bit brighter
and the door, the door of my happiness, you open wide

No matter what may be the style or season,
I know your heart will always be true.
I love you for a hundred thousand reasons,
But most of all I love you 'cause you're you.

Red,

You and your mom were two of my favorite people at THAT restaurant! The joy Maggie got from a bowl of soup could only make me smile! When times were really bad for me at the restaurant, you were both the highlight of my day when you came in!

You are greatly missed Maggie!

There are so many lives she touched in a positive way. So many memories that bring a smile and show the wonderful person she was.
So many stories about how she made a difference or made someone's day. So many hearts that are feeling sadness,
Because she was here, because she was loved. So sorry for your loss.
?Madrona??, We will miss her, but love her always. We will always remember as part of our family.

I was sorry to hear about Aunt Margaret's passing. I remember visiting her and seeing you when you were little and I was on a girls trip out west when I turned 18. She was so beautiful. Aunt Esther also told me many interesting and funny storys about times they had together. I bet they were a riot together. My dad was Brownie (Vr) and we grew up in Chicago. He was the oldest boy in that big family. Heard the memorial was nice. Blue skies and Loving Memories to you.

I wish I could have seen Aunt Margaret more recently. I remember as a child thinking she was so beautiful and rather exotic. I remember storys Aunt Esther told me about things they did together (taking a short cut across the field with the bull for one) and imagining a life those 2 red haired beauties had. Thinking of all the family and loved ones of Margaret, especially the California folks.

Madrona, It was so nice to finally meet you. Just wish the circumstances could have been better and we both could have been much younger!
?You were born the year I graduated fromcollege! Your mom will always have a very special place in my heart.
?She was so wonderful with children. She showered me with so much love and attention at a very hard time in my life.
?I will always be grateful to her for welcoming me into her home everyday. I remember that I loved combing her red hair,
?wearing her red satin high heel mules, her hats, and jewelry. I had just one ride in her 58 Thunderbird convertible,
but it was a ride I'll never forget. She was laughing her great laugh, and her hair was flying. We
went to Carl's Frostie stand in National City, and we had frosties. I was so happy you brought up Margaret's potato salad.
?I distinctly remember standing on a chair in her kitchen, watching her make it in a large yellow bowl, and handing her items.
?It was delicious. You must post it on your website with your other recipes! By the way,I really enjoyed your website. I love your style!
Hugs and kisses,
Your honorary cousin,

Maggie always made me smile.
I can envision her driving in a '58 convertible T-bird with her hair blowing in the wind.
Maybe I can find one for Madrona (Maggie's daughter) to ride in and recreate the scene.

Mama Maggie, I will always remember watching football with you at Shakey's. You were such a spunky lady. Your spirit was like a woman in her 40's! Plus you are the mom of one of my most favorite people! You will be missed but I know you will be watching from above.
