Maria Dolores Navarro was born September 24,1953 to Maria Rosario Lizariga and Adolfo Palazulos in Oxnard, Ca. She graduated from Oxnard high and was always prideful to be an Oxnard yellow jacket. She married Jose Jesus Navarro at the age 21 in 1975 and later moved to Fresno in 1988.

Maria worked for Clovis unified school district from November 7, 1988 to June 6, 2009 years she also worked for the bilingual classes and citizenship at Pinedale. She continued working even after retirement at McCardle Elementary school as a noon time assistant, she loved and cared about the students and there families always giving her all.

She had the biggest heart full of love and life, My mom Maria was a beautiful person inside and out she did a lot for people and always wanted the best for everyone.

She leaves behind her husband Jose Navarro ,Her two sons Diego and Daniel and Her daughter Anel her grandchildren Diego Jr, Jasmine, Marissa, Azela Jacob and her great grand daughter Iliana.

Heaven truly gained an angel she will be truly missed but never forgotten.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow St. Peter's Cemetery.
