Marilyn Plantz Obituary
Dear wife of the late John Plantz (2009). Loving mother of John (Marianne), Cindy Piotrowski, Brian (Brenda) and Tammy Morrison and son-in-law Guy Morrison. Cherished grandmother of Zack, Glynn (Stacey), Scott (Jenna), Cody, Madison and Matthew (Kayla). Marilyn was predeceased by her granddaughter Natalie in 2022. Great-grandmother of Gavynn, Tanner, Heath, Hayes, Nora and another soon to come. Marilyn leaves behind her siblings Agnes (Bob), Brenda (late Peter), Barb (George) and Don (Bonnie). She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Ann (Danny).
Marilyn was a longtime employee at Colonial Cookies before retiring and working as a crossing-guard. She loved to travel, walk her dog and spend her summers in Sauble Beach. She was a proud and dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Marilyn's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday, April 7th, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral will be held at Henry Walser Funeral Home on Saturday, April 08, 2023 at 10:30 AM with reception to follow. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Hospice of Waterloo Region would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
