(1933 - 2021) Daughter of Edward and Francis Scott, Sister to John Scott and Sandra Graham (deceased), Wife of fifty-seven years, to Robert (Bob), Cowan, Mother to Dawn Cruickshank, Lynn Dille-Hayes (deceased), Pamela Cowan and Scott Cowan. Loved by her in-laws Doug Cruickshank, Ken Twinning, Roy Hayes and Bonnie Cowan, Grandmother to Bobby, Eon, Jonathan, Stephen, Scott, Jay, Nadia, Kristen and Karla, Great Grandmother to Little Doug, Cara, Elise, Colin, Sean, Jordan, Layla, Maya, Ava, Elaina and Lydia. Lin loved and was loved by her whole family, her friends, her in-laws, out laws, nieces, nephews and more. Lin gave back "what was so freely given" to her, though her work with others and her service at St. James Church. Lin passed away at home with her husband and family there to take care of her as she had taken care of all of us throughout her life. Lin's wishes where to be interned (this spring), and then to have a small gathering of friends and family to celebrate her life (details forthcoming). Donation in leu of flowers, can be made to the Salvation Amy, for those who wish. Our family thanks you all for your kind words, offers of support, your thoughts and prayers. Lin rests in peace now. May our memories be our blessings and a comfort to us all.
