Marjorie K. Michel

MICHEL, MARJORIE, K. - age 86, of Knoxville, formerly of East Lansing, Michigan and Troy and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, December 28, 2011 at Parkwest Medical Center. She was a longtime member of Messiah Lutheran Church, and directed their FISH Ministries Program for over 25 years. She enjoyed practicing the arts of Scheren Schnitte and Calligraphy. Marjorie is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-three years, Dr. Robert L. Michel; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Ann Michel; daughter, Andrea Michel; daughters and sons-in-law, Ginny and John Lopis and Jan and Lloyd Culbertson; grandchildren, Adam, Peter, Madeleine, Samantha and Anika. A celebration of Marjorie's life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Messiah Lutheran Church with Pastor Eric Murray officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the Church Fellowship Hall.
