Mark Gerald Keifer passed away peacefully at home on August 28th, 2022 at the age of 60 surrounded by his loving family. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing and golfing. His love for golf led him to his ultimate career as a caddy. He is survived by his wife, Kimberley and two daughters Brittany (Richard) Nelson and Stefanie (Gilvie) Zook. He was a loving Son of Arlene (Keith) Tomczak and Gerald Keifer, Brother to Marlene (Jerry) Romozzi, Uncle to Natalie Romozzi, Nephew and Godson to Fritz (Cindy) Schmeisser. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital as Mark always said he could never imagine a child fighting the battle of cancer as he did. Visitation for Mark will be taking place on Thursday, September 1, 2022, beginning at 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 8:00 p.m. at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois 60016. Memorials may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital in Mark's name. https://www.stjude.org
