Mark Dowler Milantoni, 59, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Oakmont, PA, passed away on July 26, 2018, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital following a brief illness due to Multiple Myeloma. Born November 21, 1958, in Pittsburgh, PA, Mark had been a resident of Charlotte County for one year after moving from Pittsburgh. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. A loving father and friend, Mark is survived by his children, Kate and John; father, John Milantoni; brother, Matthew (Anna) Milantoni; two sisters, Mary (Michael) Felix and Lauren Milantoni; as well as three nieces and one nephew; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Nancy (Dowler) Milantoni. He also leaves behind many dear friends - from his childhood to friends he just met while living in Florida and everywhere in between. Mark was a voracious reader who loved all genres. He was also an avid movie buff and could quote movie lines out of thin air. Being a lifelong Pittsburgher, Mark loved the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. The Milantoni family would like to thank all their friends and family who have supported them, especially Mark, during this unexpected, difficult, and sad time. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, August 3, at 11 a.m., in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2500 Easy Street, Port Charlotte. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (www.jdrf.com) or The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society (http://www.lls.org/) in memory of Mark Milantoni. So sorry to hear about this event. Although I haven't spoken to Mark since a family reunion about 10-15 years ago, it is still a shock. I know his mother just passed as well. My condolences, Brian Milantoni, Southgate, Michigan.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Milantoni family at this most difficult time.
Mark was a great, fun guy who always made the day better when he was around. He will be deeply missed by his many friends in Oakmont and Pittsburgh.
