Mark Eldon Walters, born on August 25, 1967, in Odessa, Texas, passed away on August 10, 2024, in Hazel Green, Alabama, at 56. Known for his hardworking and fun-loving nature, Mark was the life of any party and possessed a faithful servant's heart, always ready to help those in need.

A graduate of Crane High School, class of 1986, Mark married Toni Bell in December of that year. Together, they raised their children, Brooke and Clay, in Crane, Texas. Mark proudly served the Crane Volunteer Fire Department for three decades, retiring in 2018. His professional career spanned 25 years in the oil field, where he worked diligently for Arco/BP, Key, and WesTex-WLP. Recently, he moved to Alabama to start his own business, Antler Services.

In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and mowing, which brought him much joy and peace. He is survived by his daughter, Brooke Keef, and husband, Toby, of New Market, Alabama; son, Clay Walters, and wife, Brenda, of Farmersville, Texas; his adored grandchildren, Brock and Brenley Keef; mother, Leona Walters of Odessa, Texas; his brother, Mike Walters, and wife Jan Walters; and his beloved nieces, Heather Sangster and Ally Walters. Mark was predeceased by his father, Gene Walters, and his grandparents, Agnes and Clyde Walters, Jim Hinchcliffe, Ira, and Greta Sims.

A memorial service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas, on Sunday, August 18, at 2:00 p.m. To honor Mark, the family requests donations to the Crane Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 325, Crane, TX, 79731.
