There will never be another you. You were my fighter, my honesty, and my spirited debater. I loved the person you were and to say you are second to none is an understatement . You have had such an effect on my life and every day I think about you being gone it hurts. I remember the radiance of your smile and the love that you have to those you truly cared for. I know you for the pure hearted person you are. You have always cared for people and truly wanted people's honestly, love, and adoration in return. There will never be another you! I miss you so much and one day in eternity I will get to tell you again.
Love you my friend and rest peacefully

Williams Family,
Although your hearts may be broken,
and I know it's hard not to weep,
Marla is in a wonderful place now,
Where she is happy and so carefree.
She had to go and left you all behind,
Think of the good memories to comfort you,
Concentrate on all the best times,
And before you know it, you won't feel so blue.
We are so sorry for you loss. May God give all of you a peace of understanding and comfort through this difficult time.

I am a friend of Regina Poteat's. I met Marla last year at Regina's Superbowl party. We clicked and talked for over an hour. One of my friends had breast cancer and we started talking about it. That is the only way Marla shared her story. I was stunned because she was so high spirited. You would have never known. I've asked about her several times, even last Friday. I was going to go with Regina over the weekend to visit. She texted me the next day to tell me of her death. Marla had such an impact on me with just one time of meeting her. You would never know she had a care in the world. She was a lovely spirit that was infectious. My other friends at the party were also stunned and send their prayers. Marla and I are the same age and I'm sure if I had met her years before, we would have been friends.
Take care everyone. I just wanted you to know that she impacted people on one chance meeting. I'm really sad the world won't be able to experience her on this earth.

You will forever be in my heart and mind. A true friend you were always had my back even when I was wrong. We fussed, we cussed, we laughed and we cried but always did it together. I know you will always watch over me and be there for me when I need a listening ear but I will truly miss you. I am glad I was able to tell you to your face that I love you and you told me you loved me back. (Freda Creek)
