Marritt Vanselow Obituary

Vanselow Marritt A. "Sam" age 50, passed away on 5/10/05. He is survived by parents Arthur & Jean; sister Vickie; brother & sister-in-law Kevin & Betsy; and nephews Jason and Greg. Also survived by uncles, aunts, many cousins and friends, all of whom who will miss Marritt's generosity, his sharp sense of humor, his selfless concern for others, and his friendly nature. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale Rehabilitation and Care Center, and Valley Hospital at Hidden Lakes for their tireless work and kindness. Thank you to special cousin Judy Clapshaw, who was his constant friend and supporter through everything. Thank you to the Emil Nack family for giving him some of the best days of his life on their farm. A celebration of Sam's life will be held on Saturday, 5/14, at 11 AM at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church, 511 Groveland Ave., Mpls. Memorials may be sent in Marritt's name to the Animal Humane Society, Ste. 103, 542 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul, MN 55116 or to support music ministry at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church.

My sencere condolences to the Vanselow family for there loss as I knew both his parents Art and Jean. I know both of them could talk at length about there son while at the Target Center.
