Mary Patricia Baxter, 65, of Bristol, VA, passed away on November 21, 2023. She was born on May 23, 1958, to Dr. Robert Baxter and Nancy Baxter.

Mary was one of a kind. She was known for her optimism, great sense of humor, impeccable taste in music, love of all things Irish, and her generous nature. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones.

She is survived by her daughter Aimee Corbett, son-in-law Taylor, and her grandchildren Bryn and Witten. Mary was very proud of her family and held a special bond with her granddaughter, Bryn, as they have both served as cheerleaders. Mary is also survived by her sister Frannie Minton and husband Rayburn, sister Beth Wright and husband Rick, and sister Jo Testerman and husband Bill, along with multiple nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her father Dr. Robert Baxter, mother Nancy Baxter, and brother Robert Baxter, Jr.

Mary attempted to carry on the philanthropic legacy of her parents and always found joy in helping others. She attended Grundy High School and later pursued higher education at Mercer University. She had a successful career as a pharmacist, dedicating many years to serving others through her profession.

A private graveside service will be held at Mountain Valley Memorial Park in Big Rock, VA. Mary Patricia Baxter will be remembered for her kind-heartedness, optimism, and love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of generosity and compassion that will continue to inspire all those who knew her.
