I knew a Berkowicz family way back when... that lived on Freeland Avenue in Calumet City... in the late '40's/early 50's... then... they moved down south into the Gold Coast area... I, also, lived across the street from an Anthony Bolda on Harrison Ave. in Calumet City. In my old age... the name Berkowicz still resonates in my soul. Anyway... Please accept my condolences to the Berkowicz/Bolda family in the passing of Mary. "The Lord gave, and The Lord takes away; blessed be the name of The Lord!"
