Mary Bowles Obituary
Mary Ann Comito Bowles, 91, of Mooresville, N.C., formerly of Erie, Pa., died Monday, February 23, 2015, at her residence.
She was born December 21, 1923, in Rome, N.Y., a daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary Trovatto Comito.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Bowles, two brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra A. Bowles, of Mooresville, N.C., and a son, Robert L. Bowles of Erie. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of the funeral service there at 7 p.m. Burial will be private in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Debbie, I am so very, very sorry to hear about your mom. She was such a kind and caring lady. Mary was a great neighbor. I enjoyed sitting in driveway talking to them , or helping her with her flowers, taking her to get her hair done, or going to the grocery store, or just dropping into say hi. She moved away and I looked forward to her phone calls. She will be missed and thought of often. We will miss her. The Taylor Family

We are heartbroken to hear of Mary's passing. We talked to her several times a week and enjoyed remembering the old days. We had a lot of laughs! She was a sweet woman of great faith! She is at rest with her beloved Bob. We will miss her! Rest in peace, my friend!!!
