Buzzards Bay, MA - Mary E. Boyd died peacefully Friday morning Nov-29-2024. Mary was born in Burlington, VT on Dec-28-1928, the daughter of William and Ethel Earley. Mary was the little sister of Robert Earley, John Earley and Richard Earley and very much enjoyed growing up in beautiful Burlington, VT area. Mary played basketball in High School and attended Champlain College. Mary worked at Vermont Transit then Burlington Town Hall. Mary married Arthur E. Boyd in 1951. Mary and Art enjoyed living and traveling all over the US and in England. Mary was very active, snow skiing, spending summers at Starr Farm on Lake Champlain with family, relatives and friends. Mary was a very accomplished bowler. Her husband Art passed away Nov-21-1994. Mary and Art have three children, Ted Boyd of Brunswick, GA, William and Diana Boyd of Sonora, CA and Susan and Charlie Hopkins of Rochester, MA; six grandchildren and one great grandson. Whitney, her husband Richard their son Obie, Jasper, Mackensie, Danika, her husband Sean and their dogs Zealand and Venture, Frank and Sean.

Grammy was an avid Celtics fan, and she really enjoyed cheering this year's Championship Team on. Mary loved her game shows, gardening, bird watching, reading and listening to music. She was a foodie; Mary loved to bake and we all enjoyed her famous chocolate chip cookies and apple pies. We will all miss her dearly.

Most recently Grammy resided in South Carolina with her granddaughter Danika and Sean where she enjoyed the warmer winters and sunny skies along with Z and Venture keeping her smiling.
